Maybe there are better words to express how fantastic you are, and hopefully I’ll find them in time, I dunno. But I just wanted to post this to say… thank you.

Always handcrafted, these underlying narratives that tie everything together while giving us so much room to tell our own stories. Express our own weird selves, run the show. I don’t know how you do it. How nothing feels limited, but even so it’s like you’ve accounted for it all. It’s amazing.

It’s been years now, and it’s hard to express to someone who doesn’t know you just how wonderful I find your work without it sounding like the glaze of the century. But… it’s true. You have this world that feels big and alive.

But he pitched it to me, showed me what there was to love. Expressed this joy for the same elements of tabletop that I’d always hoped to experience in the past. And he helped me get there.

Then I made a new friend, one that by happenstance was already a DM. He showed me this system that… to be honest, I had no interest in at the time. I was already tabletop avoidant, and this one seemed… strange and complicated.

Some turned into tabletop horror stories, others were just… stories stories. Life happens, ya know? Eventually I stopped seeking it out altogether, gave up. Felt like I was the problem, maybe what I wanted out of it just wasn’t what it was.
