Sigma Male Empath. Think of empathy as similar to knowing how to smell. It is another data point in the environment but data points that not everyone picks up. And that doesn't mean that the "smell" is coming from me or that I have to own it.

I came to BlueSky to "eschew toxicity". I hope to train the algorithm in just such a way. Politically speaking: Governance is a blessing that Mankind puts upon itself (if only he'll always yield the Greater Good).

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.

They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s not easy and takes constant practice!

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.
