This, I have to try. You just may have found the only way I'd eat sardines. I really love fish; but, for some reason, I have a really difficult time with Sardines.

So, you made a good old fashioned bac'n'buttie.

You should do a revisit, where you correct the whole sandwich. I bet with a quarter tsp of black pepper, 5 dashes of Tabasco and half that number of jalapeño slices, that would be a pretty good sando, plussed up or not. I say that, because I would totally make and eat my version of this.

The man has Alzheimer's and he's still more coherent than the greasy orange skid mark author of the Diarrhea Monologues.

And sometimes, my favorite, fry up just the summer sausage and melt the cheese on that, then build the sandwich on toasted (or not) bread of your choice.

The fam never used rye (but I got the yearn, and how), so it was white or wheat. DON'T use sourdough, ever on this, though.

There's one that deserved the grilled cheese plus-up. My grandfather used to make a version of this (but with mayo, instead of tartar). Sometimes, it'd be plain. Sometimes grilled cheeses.....

The only thing I hate about eye exams. But I also remember when that eye dilation crap hurt a hell of a lot more.

Just so long as they keep it out of any corral.... ESPECIALLY if that corral is Golden!
