At long last, the fursuit head for Siggie v2 is finished!
It features a cast polyurethane foam base, making it light and durable. The eyes and tongue are removable, with a slightly moving jaw.

Work is also ongoing to rebrand my suitmaking efforts!

New eye-sockets are printed!
Now I'm waiting for the mesh to arrive.

3D printed eyesockets of white ABS. The plastic has been sanded and acetone smoothed for a semi-shiny finish. The eye socket is mounted into the fursuit headbase. The image is cropped, showing only the eye and its surrounding area. The full head will be revealed at a later time.

I have a lot of both footage (for a video) and images to process, and the head is 99% there (I am awaiting a set of replacement eye-meshes).

More images will come the coming days, followed by a final reveal once the eyes are properly fixed!

Finally found time to continue my new sergal fursuit!
The neck is pretty much finished with some minor finishing touches needed.

Some more work will be performed the coming two weeks to complete it!

After having all new drawing attempts end up as sergal headshots / busts, I'm feeling quite motivated to go back to the basics, very much motivated by PewDiePie's recent video!

I want to close the gaps towards more dynamic and "loose" drawing. The practice journey starts - first is my left hand!

Pins are used to mark where the eyesocket will overlap. The excess fur is removed.
The cut fur is stitched with a blanket stitch to avoid unraveling of seams and fur-backing.

Eyesockets have been redesigned. When pushed in place without fur, it has a nice press-fit. This allows it to sit in place without any additional glue or tools.

The fur on the head was too tight, so I need to add more to widen the neck. Luckily, this results in a marking which hides the zipper even better!

Turns out another strap from the top is needed to ensure jaw movement. I'm just making sure I get everything correct before starting the furring process. Smooth and slow are the keywords here.
Neoprene pad added to get a large surface area for gluing.

Gluing was a success! Pins are used to keep the neoprene in lane while the glue is curing.

Prior to any furring, the lining must be fixed! I cut out parts of the lining and foam to ensure a proper fit. I've then added a neoprene chin rest and properly sewn in nylon bands for an adjustable headband.

Deep red faux fur backing with duct-tape pattern on top for shape transfer to the fur itself. Deep red faux fur backing with shapes transferred to the fur, ready to be cut out. Deep red faux fur cut to shape. The shape funnily enough resembles a chicken to some extent! Patterning on the backing of orange fur. The pattern consists of long slender orange markings, with shorter markings going out of the longer ones.
