outside of my paid work, i love to spend time doing things with my hands: growing flowers and vegetables at my allotment, baking bread, or working on a knitting or sewing project. i also love hiking with my friends and my husband.

my academic background (such as it is) is in early medieval literature, with a focus on old english christian poetry. i'm also currently pursuing a qualification in library & information studies alongside my full-time job.
