I'm no professional scientist but absolutely agree. I too read a few of his books when I was 12/13.

Luckily I was also introduced to thex book below around the same time by a family friend. I know which one I'll be getting my own kids to read.

I'm guessing one of them is an invasive species? Or I'd intuitively have to ask what the challenge is considering this hunter/prey situation has always occured, as part of the natural ecosystem ?

Strange how if anyone from the left every talks down any element of UK, they're usually branded some variation of "British self haters" by the right

Odd.. a person with a CPS background to not have a basic grasp of the current criminal law/order landscape.

It's not just Britain's. There's various research studies showing this to be the case.

I wonder if touches upon his involvement in the flat earth movement of the day. 😏

I'd suggest it depends on whether the (potentially) pedantic point raised has any real bearing on the over point being made initially.

If no - it is.
If yes - it isn't.

I suspect images like this cause a lot of cognitive dissonance in a large % of right wing conservatives.

So which ones are they dropping?

Wait for the backlash from the anti establishment dunning kruger crowd

I appreciate that wasn't a very clinical analysis of things - but many ppl outside the US basically consider the US is not really a socially, culturally, ethically or moral developed country anymore.
January 2, 2026 at 7:20 AM
It's hardly surprising is it. I'm & ftom the outside looking in the US has some really deeply ingrained issues with capitalism & greed which also incorporates a sub-culture of entirely intellectually dishonest blaggers, scammers, fraudsters, grifters from bottom to the highest level.

This is a "surprise" move?

Wait, what? We have radar monitoring bird movements? This I did not know!

It's useful to have a solid central right of reply I think directly from the very ppl conducting the research. It puts politicians in a position of having to properly justify/support their claims. At the very least.

Could/should just become a normal part of peer review processes perhaps.

A dedicated central source, where the authors of research/studies directly release the equivalent of press releases in direct response to purposely mangled politico claims.

Need to read this - intrigued to see if there's measurable difference between US & EU.

Aaaahhhh... cool. Its a trick I noticed often from nay sayers on x.
December 26, 2025 at 3:30 PM
Having not long gravitated from X , I've always been intrigued by the term "extent". Is this: A. the same as mass. B does the altering of salinity around the fringes of Arctic shelves lend itself to ice freezing at slightly higher water temps?

And this before he's worked out how to defy gravity.

Old trick - ask for things that are incredibly difficult to supply to the contentment of the requester, so that the requester can then declare 'something is being hidden' - therein evidence of a undefined neferious conspiracy.
