Current hyperfixation: worldbuilding for an overly complicated omegaverse

(Will update when I actually publish something)
Did you miss the college students and profs getting beat up and arrested for protesting genocide? 2020 had police vs civilians, and a pandemic where half the people wanted to die "for the economy."

True. There are some truly good authors doing the lord's work.

You say that as if litrpg is a genre for sane people who only indulge in high literature over tea and scones.
January 9, 2025 at 1:23 PM
Oh, litRPG might have something for you then. They have a bunch of Dark Lord stuff. Comedic dark lord, cozy dark lord, dark lord on a farm, accidental dark lord, etc

I don't think this is a thing outside of very edgy, very try-hard transgressive fiction... and they're usually going for psychologically disturbing rather than "Long Live Evil"

I don't even think Sauron fanfiction is Long Live Evil.

Were they vampires though?

And this Macrinus is way closer to being Batiatus from Spartacus than anything based in reality. It really doesn't get much further off.

No AI in 2024 is putting twin vampire emperors, Dundus, and Denzel Washington in a screenplay.

This movie came from the same anomalous dark hole Dracula 2000, Jonah Hex and Catwoman came from. It's peak human IDGAF creativity, and it should be celebrated as such before it goes extinct.

Talking like a Tyler Perry fan.

Glad for Mitchell and #Cavs but weeping blood tears for Jokic and #Nuggets.

Pain.

Not rolling my eyes but it seems like a lot of work. Using Notion might be better than using a spreadsheet.

Or you could export your data from GR at least instead of starting from scratch

Exactly. I've played so many of these, I feel like I'd be immune to writer's block. I feel like I'd be way better at it than romance. Romance is harder than it looks.

In my head right now, it's a tower climb with some summoning and a hint of "ongoing apocalypse" 😅

I'm still in the very early stages of fleshing it out.
December 26, 2024 at 6:09 AM
To do a full transition from writing romance to litrpg.

Very nice

Kaiba fanfiction could be to blame.

Better to start at 1 star and be pleasantly surprised than to start at 5 and be horribly disappointed.

Tithe - Holly Black

Lol, what?? 🤣 Is it non fiction or an actual love story?
December 21, 2024 at 7:08 PM
It's really discouraging that in 2024 there's still so few who managed to break out of supporting roles. Viola Davis, Cynthia Erivo, Angela Bassett... Can't even think of anyone under 30 aside from Bailey in the Little Mermaid remake that people are *still* upset about
