I can just barely see some of the sunrise through all of these enormous, view-blocking trees, but the bits I can see are gorgeous! Some blue sky and pink/orange clouds. :D

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

I still keep an executable for an old (like, Win10, so not that old) version of Notepad around because sometimes you just want a simple text editor.

Nothing like installing updates and then finding out that the big feature they want you to know about is their LLM algorithms and how easy they are to use.

Is it a hot take to say that I think that any company that uses a Social Security Number as proof of identification ought to be fined something like $1,000,000,000 per time doing that? Like, just make it absolutely financially devastating.

I'm both a bit nervous and excited about Guild Wars Reforged.
I've loved Guild Wars 1 since 2005 (I started playing it a few months after it came out). The idea of new updates to it is definitely exciting, but anytime something you love is getting changes, it's a little scary.
