I have being using AI assisted coding for more than year now. Developing my skillset and so on.

The more I use it the more call this 10x thing a bullshit.

It is a tool, stupid tool. Sometimes it works great, often it does not.

Traditional manual coding still has its place.

Everyone is preaching about how AI is boosting their productivity. Meanwhile me trying it 100x time to see if after while it gets any better to write some simple test case.... it produces utter garbage

I honestly don't get people that treat AI assistance as game changer. For me it's mostly annoying thing that slows me down. I have process when I first think about problem, walk and have in background then and only then I code. By then I know what I want to write and AI isn't helping.

I get a.lot of conflicting messages about job market right now. Is it really that bad for dev jobs or is it getting back to normal? #golang #Typescript

I'm one of those weirdos developing in vim. Not because I think it's best editor. Not because it makes me faster. Just because with time I came to hate programming GUIs that hide commands from me. I work a lot in terminal and vim works in terminal so I kinda don't have to switch.

I'm so glad I don't do react anymore. Gosh is so aweful tool to use.

I often wonder how much bullshit self promotion on job market should and shouldn't include. I try to keep it simple, so say nice things about things I actually do for work. Without you know lies.

Internet, social media, and constant distraction make it difficult to read tech books from cover to cover, something that I used to do without a problem.

I'm the only one that hates video curses for learning anything? I much prefer text. I can quickly read it, easily come back to difficult parts and scim all the fillers. With audio/video it's much, much harder to digest material. I don't get popularity of them.

One thing I learned with expirence and I often need to remind myself about is that each even small thing can be a rabit hole. Especially if you want to do a good job.

It's quite a sad thing that companies mostly want to hire you for what you have already done. For me, it's being a #JavaScript guy. There are a few that are open to not-perfect fits.

I would love to have some good tui library for #Typescript. There is Ink and Blessed, but both have issues. Ink is react :( and Blessed I think is not maintained. #tui

I kinda don't get this whole AI hype thing. I use it regularly, it's good for some workloads, but seriously it's not a game changer for developer. #AI

I used to program shell scripts in #fish. It's nice little shell with good scripting lang included. But now, I do it with #bun and #Typescript it's just so much easier to do any kind of complex logic.
