When I have the opportunity, I like to indulge in low-speed #train travel around #Europe accompanied by a Peruvian finger puppet which ruins what would otherwise be perfectly good travel pictures.

We have left Crewe 96 minutes later than scheduled. A man in a TfW fleece has microwaved his own meal in the kitchen and is enjoying a lasagne. I have acquired a cup of tea and some biscuits in an attempt to retain the will to live. A few people do not know how to close their mouths while they eat.

Nearly there.

I've eaten so much #FreeStuff on the #Eurostar and the #Avanti service from London that I don't think I'm going to attempt a #TfW dining experience this evening. I'm just going to settle into post-prandial snoozing instead.

If we ever leave #Crewe.

My favourite part of the journey so far was when the man picking his scabs was sick over the floor of the metro 4 from Paris Maquis-de-Sade to Gare du Nord.

No major delays so far, waiting to check in for the 14:24 #Eurostar to London. #ReasonsToGoViaLille

Please tell more. I had breakfast once on the #TfW service to Newport but generally I'm either not on it long enough to eat or am unlucky enough (most recently) to have a cancelled train. Here's a nice picture of Stokesay Castle taken from a big comfy seat to make up for that. #SeddGydaGolygfa
