Life drawing yesterday
Went to see the Trafalgars last night for a family and friends gig. They may not be festival headliners but the fun and joy they had performing live was infectious. It was a chaotic at times but uplifting to witness people enjoying life especially as there is a ton of crap going down in the world.

Mahoosive baking sesh for allotment open day. Mary made coffee and walnut cake and brownies and I made yo yo custard creams, double chocolate chip cookies, mini apple pie crumbles and mini cambazola, cheddar and chard quiches. Also two buckets of flowers.

Planted potatoes today. I hate doing it and everyone says don’t plant things that are cheap to buy but homegrown potatoes are the best. And the oven chips I make are sensational.

Sketching at Borough Market today. Lots of interest in my drawings and my jacket. Gorgeous but cold day, everyone was so friendly.

Ventured on to the allotment on this bitterly cold but beautiful day, first time since December last year. It doesn’t look too bad but… brrrrrr! The train home was so warm and cosy I fell asleep and missed my station.
