If you insist on using alt-text, upload a second image covering event information and write alt-text for that in addition to alt-text for the primary image. Ultimately though, the only thing that should go in alt-text is an image description.

Please stop using alt-text to post "more information" about an event. Alt-text is for writing image descriptions for visually impaired people using a screen reader. Not only does this make the content of the post confusing, alt-text is harder for a screen reader to navigate than text on a website.

Could you help me with my taxes? I am *this* high in debt.

The alt text for this image is literally a single space. So you clicked the button to add alt text just to not write anything?

Until you find an ADA Coordinator, I'll give you this one for free: please start writing alt text on your posts for the benefit of blind and visually impaired users. Alt text is not where "more info" goes, it is what a screen reader displays for those who cannot see the image.

You don't look a day over 30!

Bottom line, don't stress about it too much! People with disabilities are not shy about making sure they are being accommodated. You putting even a little bit of effort into making your event accessible is, unfortunately, more than most people do. Your effort will not go unappreciated!

And most importantly, provide information and be reachable! Someone going to your event should have a clear understanding of how well they will be able to navigate (both physically and mentally) before they arrive. If someone wants to make a request or ask a question, be there to hear it.

Make sure there are plenty of places to sit down. Walkways are clear of any obstacles and are wide and friendly. Bathrooms, elevators, and other facilities are navigable and easy to find. Sure, people with disabilities will benefit from this, but so will everyone.

When accessibility is done right, it benefits everyone, so I recommend simply thinking about what would be helpful to all. Chances are you will cover the needs of those with disabilities without needing to put yourself in someone else's shoes, which can be challenging.

I wish they would fix it up instead. Hard to get Master Blaster when you have a 2/3 chance of getting a broken blaster 😔

Maybe a hot take, but it has been impossible for me to get excited about any of these new drops. I know Bad Dragon has always been a "fantasy" toy maker, but these designs are getting progressively more absurd and frankly uncomfortable looking. I don't know what market BD is trying to capture here.

Wow that takes me back! Using the phones at Kings Island was the best part of the job. Calling in a 29 at Woodstock Express. Listening to Mike Koontz give the daily weather report each morning. Ahh memories...
