Came across what I can only guess is Big Boy's British cousin while in Bath. Does anyone know the story behind this guy?

Made it to the other side of that ley line from this week's video, and I'm still not sure about any special energies... Somehow we brought the heat with us, though. Sorry about that England.

This airport gift shop gets an A+ for product placement, but I have to wonder why there are multiple Jaws covers currently on the newsstand in 2025.

What it looked like crossing the desert between El Centro in Yuma in the 1920s. There was still a wooden plank road across the Algodones Dunes for part of the route until 1926.

Can't believe it's been 2069 years since Julius Caesar was assassinated. Doesn't seem like that long ago...

Took this picture of the spot it happened in 2023.

The University of Arizona in Tucson has a tree that is out of this world. On 1971’s Apollo 14 moon mission, astronaut Stuart Roosa brought over a hundred seeds with him. These seeds orbited the moon, and when they came back to Earth, they were sent all over the world.

A few days ago, I was at San Diego's Mt. Hope Cemetery and happened to see that Raymond Chandler, the author of the Phillip Marlowe books, is buried there.

I had no idea he had any connection to San Diego, but I guess he moved to La Jolla in 1946.

Peter Lebeck tree at Fort Tejon.

Not much is known about Lebeck, other than he was killed by a bear and buried by this tree in 1837.

In Puerta del Sol in Madrid, there is a stone marker on the ground where all distances in Spain are measured from.

Some cool neon at Puerta del Sol in Madrid. Picture taken last week. While I was there, they were setting up all the Christmas lights and wish we could have been there to see them lit up.
