Man of confusion, part-time boner boy, full-time Homestar Runner Loremaster. LEGO man, toy man, second life man.
PLEASE to look at my un-updated blog where I talk about things I'm interested in: https://beendrinkingplentyofwaterlately.blogspot.com
I had a vision, and the vision didn't take that long to edit up into working order, considerably more stylin' than just the uniform itself.

Some highlights from this year's Día de los Muertos build, that I liked so much I'm just keeping it around forever now.
It makes me feel at home.

It is ONCE AGAIN time for the reduced price on this old thing (that keeps getting older!) 50% off for the whole of October.

View of it here, if you dare, etc., I probably should have made a new ad for it but I didn't.

6442: Sting Ray Explorer gives us a glimpse into the undersea world of 1997, where submarines were yellow, certain minifigure heads were really uncanny and fish were stickers on big ugly rock pieces.
The leopard eel and crab stickers are my favorites.

"There you are, right on time! C'mon in and cop a squat!"

An unruly wind has swept the hat of that cadaverous cad, the Dapper Swindler, onto a bough above a mountain ravine, forcing the duplicitous dead man to make use of an unusual tool - which he really did have up his sleeve.

This little guy here, 1762: Go-Kart from 1995, is what I like to refer to as Barely a LEGO Set.
With a scant sixteen pieces, not counting the minifigure, this 2x6 plate with wheels is a joyful example of, "just toss some parts in a box and sell it."
July 15, 2025 at 4:56 AM
A little summer fun with 6595: Surf Shack from 1993, with three different sails for windsurfing, a bar with palm frond awnings and a man with very short shorts.
July 15, 2025 at 2:30 AM
The rest of the set is this funky net contraption, ice "tunnel" and little gems in ice domes, the idea being to clear the ramp and get to the jewels, presumably.
The set also has some extra bits to make the two alternate builds, including some set-exclusive medium blue barrels.

Inside we have these fine Xalaxian gentlemen, Freeze and Chill, with top-notch printing and cold color combos, along with an extra-cool medium blue ramp with some excellent stickering, and either racer's slammer/storage garages, complete with more cool stickers of their emblems.

Here's an odd one, 4579: Freeze & Chill from 2001's LEGO Racers, the only playset in the entire theme. This brand new box has been through 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨, with the hole in the back and the scuff on the front, probably from a torn-off sticker.
I'm gonna see what's inside.

I was prompted to join a discord server and a divine spirit came to me and guided my hands to google image search for "grim reaper with gun."

Even more bones, how many can there be?
Too many. More than will ever be necessary, really.
April 10, 2025 at 5:01 AM
Twenty done, time for four more.
A lot of these outfits use the same pair of shoes, have you noticed that?
April 9, 2025 at 5:58 AM
Round four of the skelemen, I'm nearing the end of the outfits worth taking pictures of.
April 8, 2025 at 2:21 AM
The skeletons keep comin', they will eventually stop.
One of them is NAKED this time.
April 7, 2025 at 8:50 AM
Going through and taking all these pictures is giving me a good opportunity to revamp some outfits.
Or just delete them.
Anyway here's another four.
April 4, 2025 at 9:45 AM
Have a few more good bone fits, though the jacket in the first one isn't my favorite, it's the only one I've found to complete the look so... completely.
April 4, 2025 at 5:53 AM
I'm taking nice pictures of my boneman outfits, and also realizing how bad some of my boneman outfits are.
Here's some of the good ones!
April 3, 2025 at 11:57 PM
People been tellin' me I ain't got a face for pictures, not about to be a problem now.
March 2, 2025 at 3:34 AM
I am become all shook up, uh-huh-huh.
January 23, 2025 at 12:47 PM
Nifty little gizmo, that earpiece.
Hard to keep in when you don't have any ears, though...

6575: Polar Base features some fine grey buildings on some fine white baseplates, with med bay, observation tower, weather monitoring and X-ray machine all in one or two or four places.
Also featuring a very nice chopper and the last tracked vehicle and polar bear in the theme.
January 20, 2025 at 7:25 AM
6579: Ice Surfer features this really cool printed sail, and bucks convention by putting the flag on a remote monitoring station rather than the vehicle itself.
This is the one I had as a wee man, and even now I'm disappointed by the lack of snowshoes, but c'est la vie.

Set 6573: Arctic Expedition makes use of 𝘵𝘸𝘰 of the classic plow piece for its big tracked vehicle, and has a remote vehicle with articulated arm for safely retrieving more icy asteroids to take back to the lab.
