Gemini has been surprisingly useful as a guide on this. I'm not interested in any agentic stuff and prefer the old school method of typing out all the suggested code myself.

This has the added benefit of requiring much less back and forth since I notice the bugs myself and fix on the spot. 5/n

I'm finding Kotlin to be a really well-designed, expressive language. And surprisingly, since the android ecosystem is so tightly coupled together with Android Studio, I grudgingly decided to stick with it and it has slowly grown on me.

I'm fighting an urge to set up something similar in Neovim 4/n
