And our market isn’t even that small. We have fans from Alaska to middle of Oregon and Montana. It’s a sports desert but 3 good sized metros root for the Seahawks consistently.
It was more tolerable when Arizona was good and rich conservative people who live in Seattle and hate it wouldn’t shut up.

Hawks fan here, yeah that was weird at best. Also not the kind of call you can easily make up for later, like giving a pass interference after missing one earlier.

I see this as similar to history of US law too. Gay panic defense worked in both mental illness and self/societal defense laws. Lynchings prosecution too.
Obviously murder and should be ruled as such but it’s not literally written down as “and we mean it, even if they’re gay or black” so oops!

Where are the voting holidays? Where are the worker protections when your boss founds out you’re not in his party and voted? Why do some counties get aid and not their neighbors in disasters? Why is transit political?
