I'm of two minds here. On the one hand, I'm very open to changing the vibes & such. I want that feeling from Metroid Prime of this is completely different than anything I've ever played, wow. But, Nintendo blabbermouth sidekicks have historically sucked.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has plenty of the good stuff. It also has an incredibly annoying, incredibly un-Metroid sidekick who won't shut up.

Is 2025 the worst holiday season for games releases ever or just, like, this century? Yotei is solid. I'm hopeful for Metroid. And that's it. Worse, the next thing to get excited about is Resident Evil...on February 27.
