We’ll have to agree to disagree. I don’t for one minute think he should be sent off, but he deliberately struck him with his hand. Regardless of the force, it’s assault. If an opposition player had done it, it’s a red, so I don’t understand the argument. Let’s agree that it’s a dumb rule though.
