As a retired USSS agent, I never wore a mask, even in arctic temps. Hell, we would get in trouble for wearing a winter cap unless we were in the backwoods somewhere and no one could see us.

I can’t speak to the consequences of failing the ICE PFT… but I can promise you that there are no real consequences for USSS agents if they fail and both are DHS. I am retired USSS and appalled by what I am seeing from my old department.

As a retired federal employee, I can confirm that they will absolutely exploit this. And it has been going on for years. It’s a way to hold it against you IF they so desire.
