Ah, makes me miss having cats. I became allergic as a teen, but was lucky to have cats before that. I confess I adore that sound from my dog. Puts me at ease when I hear him eating or drinking. It translates to “healthy pet”. This is Max. He started life as a street dog in Tijuana.

This newish coyote kit/pup appeared in the neighborhood a couple months ago. It kept its distance while observing me and my dog. I took this quick video and moved on. The coyote laid down as if to take a nap as we left. Beautiful critter.
