On this day in 1981, I had my first brain surgery for hydrocephalus. One of 30+ surgeries that shaped my journey. Add a hysterectomy, brain tumor, & double mastectomy to the mix. Grateful for my husband’s unwavering support. Life’s a wild ride, & I’m thankful for every wave. Photos of past surgeries

Years ago, my doctor who knew I’d rather wrestle a bear than take medicine “prescribed” a highly scientific remedy: drink hot tea and Tang every hour for a whole day. Yep, that’s a lot of sugar, but hey… it totally worked! Here’s a picture of good old Tang, straight from the USA! 🍊☕😄

This summer we visited Florence, strolled cobblestone streets, savored truffle pasta served in a cheese wheel (thanks to our son’s reservation!), sipped wine from a wine window, explored museums, vineyards, and Michelangelo’s David. #TBT #ThrowbackThursday #TBTchallenge Is throw back still a thing?😂
