#SICHL researchers may have uncovered how vestibular schwannoma (VS) tumors cause hearing loss. Dr. Stankovic’s team found that these tumors release toxic molecules that damage inner ear sensory cells. This discovery paves the way for new drug treatments to protect hearing.
