Wow, lucky you!

Yep,the Victorians said it was a hill fort, but it's not on a hill & there are 2 big hill forts about a mile away, it's now believed it was for 'ritual' use, but looking at the shape of it, and the fact that a chalk phallus was discovered there leads me to think what that ritual use was originally 😅

It's a truly magical spot, normally a good crop of Amanita come the autumn too.

Here in Dorchester, the Romans converted an iron age henge into an amphitheatre, it was then used in the 1600s as a gallows. It's seen some action!

My daughter's are both 18 and love a CD, and they use streaming.
They mainly use streaming for playlists.

My old cat, Mojo, regularly jumps on my bed as I'm dropping off to sleep 🙂
