Happy New Year to one and all! 🍾🪩

Lots to be grateful for this past year, but I’m most grateful of all for a special day where I got to marry my best friend. ❤️

I hope all of you can take a moment to think of something that makes you smile too 🙂

9/11 AARO is utilizing national labs, academia, and NASA (!) to achieve their mission. IMO this is key, and am glad to see these partnerships.

Especially thrilled to see NASA described as “the focal point for academic research and open source data analysis on UAP”

6/11 If you take one thing away from this report let it be this:

“AARO did not receive any UAP reports collected through national GEOINT, SIGINT, or MASINT platforms. AARO will continue to strengthen IC partnerships to increase national reporting”

5/11 AARO is continuing to do a good job solving cases. They did however find 21 cases to be worthy of further study, and of course, these are the ones of interest. 21 in a single year.

444 lacked enough data. So improving data collection clearly will make a big difference.

4/11 IIRC, this is the first report to acknowledge incidents in space, something that AARO said for the record hadn’t happened yet, which was hard to believe. Still no maritime cases, although anecdotally I’m led to believe they’re just not getting to AARO.

3/11 There were 757 new reports in the last year. I believe that’s the biggest number yet. This is a consistent issue and

Will. Not. Go. Away.

Interestingly 272 of those are from incidents that took a few years to get to AARO. At this point, why is that happening?

2/11 Years into this effort now, and getting good data is still the biggest issue. Goes to show how long it takes to change bureaucratic systems and policies. We all must be patient. Glad to see they’re still working on adjusting sensors.

1/11 Some takeaways from the annual ODNI AARO Report 🧵

Three reports of UAP *following* pilots. So, obviously intelligently controlled. No indication of adversarial. That needs be priority #1 both out of flight safety, AND interest. Our jets are fast and maneuverable. And yet..

No matter your thoughts on Elizondo, does anybody really disagree with his proposed actions in his written statement to Congress?

Thoroughly enjoyed talking UFOs with my incredibly talented friend @guybirtwhistle about his new movie “Our Man in LA” on the Geek Speak Show.

#ufotwitter, this film is definitely up your alley.

Christopher Mellon’s written statement 👇

He has seen satellite imagery of UAP.

Congress (and even AARO) have not.

That’s a problem.

It also seems he has full confidence in AARO’s new leadership.
