Hampshire bird watcher, by public transport or walking
I have my curtains closed during the day, then open the French doors in the evening and let the cool air in.
Sat in the front room watching the Hedgehogs come down for food and a drink.

Travelling by train is definitely the way to go. Since giving up driving after 50 years I was surprised how easy it is bird Ashurst, Beaulieu Road and Lymington.
No more stuck in traffic at Lyndhurst 😱, or trying to park at Pennington Lane.

Travelling by train is definitely the way to go. Since giving up driving after 50 years I was surprised how easy it is bird Ashurst, Beaulieu Road and Lymington.

I caught the number 1 bus from Weymouth (every 15 minutes).
It does a circuit as far as Reap Lane, Sweet Hill etc, but not the Bill.
I walked from Reap Lane to south of the old Admiralty building where the bird is, luckily out of the wind. Then back along Top Fields, good luck if you go 🤞
