Hi, Carly. We use a gas boiler which heats water which is then pumped to convector radiators in each room. We use electricity for appliances not heating. Radiator type below. 😊

At least we don't have the gun problems that plagues the USA, Carly! The train conductor, who was seriously injured saving lives, is still critical but now stable which is great news! The train driver is ex armed forces & was pictured a few days earlier at a Remembrance Day ceremony. 👇

In '70's when in the London police we had a superb local Italian ice cream parlour & coffee house who served LAVAZZA coffee. They also made, on Italian machines, a huge range of gelati & cassatas. The range of flavours & was extensive & very delicious. 😋☕🇮🇹🍨😂

I'm sure that includes you, Carly. 😍 Funnily enough my wife & I recently received a get well note from the City Of Birmingham Orchestra, who we support, after missing a concert due to severe colds. Included in them were 2 badges saying "You are wonderful". We are still blushing! 😍😊🎶

Exciting afternoon as earlier a Chinook helicopter flew past the house opposite very low indeed. Wish I'd had a camera ready as it would have made a great photo with the clear blue sky behind it! We have an RAF helicopter training base 8 miles away but don't often get Chinooks especially that low!

You are probably too young to remember when all buses were operated by Manchester Corporation Larry, in a standard livery,
including the remaining trolley bus fleet. Liverpool, Chester & other cities had the same schemes. Liverpool were dark green & Chester maroon & cream.
