“Science is not political”—their favorite excuse. Just wait until more is taken from them; then they’ll realize that, as members of society, they have responsibilities they cannot escape! But sometimes, it’s already too late.
The government censoring scientists is horrific.
But what is even more horrific is that many non-government scientists and institutions are self-censoring themselves because they are scared of the government and losing funding.

Apparently, scientists make good politicians—not for advocating science, but for securing funding!
