Announcing New Welsh Voices in English Literature - a new research series at Swansea!

I wanted to devote some of my @leverhulme.ac.uk trust fellowship to promoting work by other ECRs in Wales.

I'm really looking forward to these two talks this semester, with Bridget Bartlett and Beth Pyner.

First day in sunny Charlottesville as the Lillian Gary Taylor Fellow in American Literature at UVA working on the Anne Spencer papers!

I'll be here for two weeks and then off to Chapel Hill. Recommendations very welcome!

Continuing a tradition from the other place: today I am 28. James and I went bowling and I bought myself this incredibly decadent chocolate bar.

Really enjoyed this strange little novel set in Porthcawl.

Does anyone have any recommendations for other books in the Library of Wales series?

Hi new followers! My name is Siân and I think mainly about the literary history of the US South, periodicals and print culture, and the Harlem Renaissance.

Outside of work, I like public transport, dysgu Cymraeg, and hanging out with Leo Bloom (she/her) who we adopted 2 weeks ago!
