This is something my family didn't know about until my childhood cat got sick after we put lilies on a shelf she could access. She recovered without an issue and lived another 14 years but it's something not enough pet owners know about and it can be deadly.

JFC. I'm naturalized now but when I had a green card I always kept it with my passport (meaning I didn't have it on me unless I was traveling). 99% of the time, I didn't have it on me.
But I'm white and a native English speaker, so no one thinks of me when they think of immigrants.
