The red sky this morning was an ominous warning of the amber weather alert due later today! 💨💦👀

There's an amazing sky near Kidwelly this morning with just a hint of a rainbow 😍
Could be a sign of the stormy weather to come...🌧️💨🌊

Apologies for the blurry image - taken from a moving train!

It’s been v exciting to see so much media interest in the amazing 1588 Welsh Bible loaned to @stdavidscathlib.bsky.social by Westminster Abbey for #CALCA2025 😍

Visitors to @stdavidscathedral.bsky.social today were also thrilled to get a glimpse!

It's an early start when I go to Swansea for work - but worth it for the views from the train 🙂

I love it when the local red kites all get together for a party just outside my window 😍

Without knowledge of Latin we’d never know that in 1629 Anne Pusan threatened to sue John Bested for calling her ‘a whore, a base whore, a stewd whore...an arrant whore’ in a field of barley near Bottisham.

(Yes, I know some of the document is in English! 🙂)

I've been wishing mine were a bit less colourful, tbh! G-Grandad Collins was a miner who clearly made the most of being above ground…

Ooh, while I remember, this is a c1930 pic of G-Grandad Evans (standing), the milk-watering, ?fire-starting, wicked ex-Baptist minister! 😂

I was delighted to discover that in 1913 my great grandfather danced the Highland Fling in the street during one of his 33 arrests for drunkenness in Aberdare.

(Obvs not that delighted about the 33 arrests!🫣)

After finding out one g-grandfather was a disgraced Baptist minister before becoming a grocer/?arsonist who had 6 convictions for watering his milk & another had 33 convictions for drunkenness, it's wholesome to know my g-g-grandfather won prizes for his ducks!
