I caused offence in the #disability community using the term ‘able bodied’. I have a TBI causing balance problems and I hate ramps. I wear a knee brace or use a stick and consider myself able bodied. Explain, kindly please, why that’s offensive as I genuinely want to learn.

QLD has introduced ‘adult crime - adult time’ against universally accepted human rights. This is a state which has hugely overcrowded prisons and a large indigenous, therefore troubled, population. I don’t know the answer to youth crime but I know this is NOT it. 🥴
