I will not forgive these incompetent fuckers for taking over the Labour Party that I was a member of and then turning out to be so monumentally shit at the job they were elected to do. #bluelabourout
If Wes Streeting is the answer to the Labour Party’s problems, then we’re even more fucked than I thought.

The same people who told you Elon Musk didn’t do a nazi salute are the ones telling you Donald J Trump didn’t try to encourage an insurrection. Go figure.

So Keir Starmer's strategy on welfare cuts has essentially been to:

1) Fail to engage with Labour MPs before launching the policy
2) Ignore all warnings about a rebellion
3) U-Turn at the very last minute after the damage is done
4) Promise a new approach
5) Suspend the MPs anyway

Remember when Liz Kendall’s leadership bid failed as the first hurdle because she was generally seen as a lightweight nonentity? Yeah, that. #welfarereforms

Starmer doesn't need any smart new ideas. He doesn't need to chase Farage or offer a running commentary on the Glastonbury line-up. He simply needs to return to the promise of his first weeks in power: competence, determination and public service.

It’s a tell that senior Labour politicians use ‘me’ and ‘I,’ rather than ‘we’ and ‘us’ when talking about their department policies and objectives.

I guess it would be too much for them to ask whether it would improve the country rather than whether it will win votes.

Just cancelled my Guardian subscription. I’ve tolerated the fact we pay for Simon Jenkins’ moronic takes on everything and the vacuous ramblings of the nepo-husband, but the disgraceful destruction of The Observer is not something I’m prepared to be even remotely associated with.

Everyone is going to learn to be less dependent on the United States, and the US will become much poorer in many ways because of it.

14 years in opposition to a clowns’ convention, 14 years to develop a clear programme with principles and vision, and the best that Labour came up with is this shitshow. No wonder that so many of us are so disappointed.

Every day the Labour Party’s domestic policy sinks lower into the mire. Just turning into a bunch of despicables defending the indefensible to please their corporate funding stream and wealthy backers. Or to put it another way, sell-out c***s.

Lots if people on here I usually respect made arses of themselves tonight by their demands for instant action and government by social media, rather than waiting for an hour or so for a measured and considered response.

What a complete shitshow Keir Starmer’s Labour Party has turned out to be. Glad I left it when I did, but I never imagined they would be this awful. Incompetent, lacking in any vision, direction or principles and just making it up as they go along based on opinion polls. A joke that’s not funny.

BBC giving failed politician, proven tax avoider and failed trigger-happy litigant Nadhim Zahawi a platform is top level trolling of the British electorate.

Any last drops of benefit of the doubt I had left for Keir Starmer ended today. The guy is a complete plantpot. A man without any semblance of a plan. (If I was still posting on X there would be more expletives.)

Farage pours poison into the ear of the uber-toad Musk.

The toad amps it, garbles it, and then spews it forth.

Cue outcry.

Farage shrugs. Spread his palms helplessly. Says “free speech”and “What can I do?”

And happily watches the poison spread.

Rinse and repeat.

Claiming that politicians of other parties are ‘friends of terrorists’ and ‘not on the side of the British people’ etc have to be the very lowest for of political attack. Yet the keep coming from the same divisive grifters who are only on your side when they gain something from it.

Road to the next UK financial crash.

Bank stress tests to be run every 2 yrs, not yearly.

No regulation of shadow banks.

Capital adequacy of banks, insurance companies reduced.

No cap on bankers' bonuses.

Regulators to promote growth and competitiveness of finance industry

What could go wrong?

Allison Pearson isn’t very bright is she? She’s contradicted herself several times in the PM interview. Shame Evan Davies didn’t point out how weak her arguments were, but then not a surprise.
