14: Kingdom Hearts (Final Mix)
Aside from the sometimes obtuse progression, Kingdom Hearts is a wonderful RPG! Coming from someone with little to no attachment to Final Fantasy or Disney, my favorite parts of the game were mostly when it created original elements and formed it's own identity.

Mario Party Advance is essentially a sidequest simulator that isn't afraid to give you a game over for too many bad dice rolls. In other words, it's the greatest game ever made.

Bananza is such a creative game! Super cool to see ideas that started all the way back in Galaxy evolved upon in new ways here as well. Also the ending stretch is absolute cinema. Otherwise, my main critique would just be that most of the objectives aren't that memorable.

Time to figure out what layer every underground area in these series is on lol. If DK Bananza were a Mario game, it would definitely have an awesome (and cheesy) underground theme motif in the planet core theme. Come to think of it, that's kinda what Thousand Year Door already does!

I really like this game's premise. Switching through abilities and trying to form a strategy is very fun! I like that there's a simple plot with characters as well, since this kind of game usually doesn't have that. The "2D tilting" gameplay style isn't really my thing, though.

Graphics and sound aren't ideal, but the more of a DKC fan you are, the more I'd recommend this version as well. There's a creative new 9th world like the 3DS and Switch ports of Returns, and a new soundtrack by David Wise that's too good to have never been modernized

Turns out this game is fantastic. There's great moments, it's well designed, but what appealed to me the most was the world themes. I love autumnal mountains and floating sky kingdoms, and this game has both!
