A first! A marine hatchery is set to change the lives of thousands of fishermen in Kenya by providing fish 'seedlings'. This enables them to grow the fish in ponds, rather than in the ocean as they have been growing naturally.

Every year between February and March, something special happens in Diani 🇰🇪. The annual Diani Regatta Festival is all about bringing the indigenous culture to light, with a traditional boat race being the highlight of the event. The boats are only propelled by the wind.

So the Maasai community in Kenya are traditionally pastoralists. They keep animals and sometimes migrate for pasture. But unpredictable rainfall and long drought seasons have made them turn to fish farming?!
