It's getting a bit silly now, really.

I must say, Crystal Palace & Newcastle are two of the most poorly run football clubs on the planet. Both transfers could have been wrapped up weeks ago, but for them.

A possible starting Xl of Alisson; Kerkez, van Dijk, Guehi, Bradley; Grav, Szoboszlai, Wirtz; Gakpo, Isak, Salah against Burnley is frightening.

Throw Frimpong, Konate, Robbo, Jones, Mac A, Ekitike, Chiesa & Rio into the mix as well and it's gonna be one hell of season (we hope!).

How's everyone else's Monday going then?

Again, not a great performance (particularly first half) but another win. What a free kick!

Nine points on the board, two clear at the top, and maybe a signing or two in the next 24 hours.

What a time to be a Red!

Up the f*cking CHAMPIONS!

I know we didn't play well last night, but Rio's goal from start to finish was sublime... just world class all round.

We we're rubbish at times (a lot of times), but we found a way.

Up the fucking REDS!

Was at Anfield the other day, and Everton's new stadium does look like a massive Tesco/Amazon depot from afar.

Spurs beating City could be seen as a surprise, but they're City's bogey team for sure.

Always fascinated me, bogey teams. I remember when Coventry & Leicester used to beat us constantly in the late 90s!

Well, that was some game! Showed fight after being pegged back, but far too open. Good to have Grav back next game.

Up the Champions!

So, it all starts again today. I reckon we're favourites to retain the title, but only just. Think Arsenal will push us. Let's see what happens!

Good luck, everyone.

FWIW, I reckon we'll get Isak for between £120-130m but won't see him play until after the first international break (mid Sept).

Defo also need a new CB!

Not the ideal result today, but a good run out non the less. Ekitike & Wirtz looked the business.

Too open through the middle, however. Guess we missed Grav. Fair play to Palace.

Real business starts on Friday.

Up the REDS!

When Nunez signed for us three years ago, if someone at the time said we'd go on to win a title & a League Cup, he would have been seen as a huge success. He hasn't been.

A popular player - one that's contributed, for sure - but never good enough to lead Liverpool's line.

Reckon Wirtz will be our new no.7, and (hopefully) Isak no.9.

I like Diaz, and he was great for us last season, but I feel he's reached his peak. Good to cash in on him now - especially if we're getting Isak!

Another good signing for the REDS. I'm already all-in on Ekitike after seeing this image.

I remember a time when a Frimpong or a Kerkez would have been our marquee signing. To also have Wirtz and the possibility of Isak in the same summer is the stuff of dreams.

Really, really sad news about Jota. Was a great player for us and contributed massively to our recent success.

Rest in peace, Diogo & thanks for the memories.
