Rather, any soft consonant in his mouth sounds like teeth sinking into soft things, and I can’t shake the pleasant chill it sends through me. Like he might bleed around it. Like I might bleed.

It gives off the effect of a hanged man’s hysterics, and I find it endlessly amusing.
