Mostly reading, may make a few replies and such. Mostly following people here that I followed on Twitter but branching a bit. More to add when I think of some wording. ADHD, Autistic, They/Them
I used to say I would never stop calling it Twitter. But now I agree with you, it has changed too much to still call it that, and I don’t think of it as Twitter anymore. I think of Twitter as dead. This place is now much closer to how I used to think of Twitter.

FWIW most individuals pay the IRS as they go during the year via employer withholding from their wages. So one thing the state could in theory do directly is not remit the withholding for state employees to the IRS. In practice I’m sure it’s really just talk to point out the imbalance.

Jumping to something like Moving Pictures, which is a fairly standalone send up of the movie business, or much later The Truth which is kind of the same except the newspaper/news reporting business, may be of interest. Or as someone else said Going Postal and related.

Mostly going to chime in and say it’s okay if it doesn’t work out too. But yes also order of release is not the best way to start for most. Not sure where to point though. I liked Mort (4th) and then the other DEATH as a main character books with Hogfather as a standout perhaps.

Ah damn. I miss ranitidine and I had come away with the impression it was not possible to make it without the “contamination.” Didn’t know until now it could still be had elsewhere.

A fiscal year can begin any month, although it usually at least matches up with a calendar quarter. The US federal government fiscal year begins Oct 1 and ends Sept 30. So FY 2026 begins Oct 1, 2025.

In other words, in my experience the dosing and timeframe IS the most important thing in avoiding withdrawal symptoms, so if concerns about it I would talk to doctor about making it a more gradual taper. Possibly you have already done that! Good luck be safe.

FWIW, when I deliberately tapered off Lexapro, I didn’t have any trouble. I did stretch the tapering out further than what seemed to be the usual rec tho. It’s been years so I don’t remember doses. But it does stand in contrast to when I was late with a refill. That was a BAD time for a day or few.

Feels like Fetterman just does not give one fuck anymore and it seems like a full on reversal from how he had positioned himself and ran for offices. I live near enough to where he was mayor to have seen coverage over the years, etc. Got him for another 4 years I guess? Ugh.

So many things are wrong and there doesn’t seem to be anything effective to deal with it so far. I think it’s worse than I imagined.

My choice is yes, I mean I would like to know if I were in that situation. I’m guessing some good cases could be made for no tho. The lack of details in the hypo is not fun, I would def want to know *why* this is the case and such, but it doesn’t affect my choice.

Yeah, this. I weaned off Lexapro before and went even slower than advised because I had an issue once when my refill was late. I was scared of that again. Understandable to want some Dr supervision given your reaction when starting to take it. Good luck.

Definitely is! The more time goes on the more I understand how clearly I am ace. I like the term aceflux now that I understand I’m not completely demisexual but all of these fall under gray ace. I think knowing one’s baseline is way more ace than allo helps explain some things.

Oh thanks this exact one just followed me, reminds me that I need to check all my recent follows as I’m not really doing anything that would warrant most new follows lol

I’ve seen these photos before, at least months ago if not longer. I don’t know for sure where though, just that I recognize them quite clearly.

Wow I can’t believe that thread geez, so much garbage. I am still using my iPhone 11 for now, but my sentiment about the change has been the same as your original post. How does one have iPhones for years and not end up with MANY lightning cables?? Which will become useless???

You know while we’re on technical medical/research terms that sound bad, “comorbidity” should really be up there IMO. Nothing says “sensitive to people’s multiple health issues” like using a word that has “morbid” as the base. Surely there’s something better we could come up with lol
November 27, 2024 at 3:25 PM
FWIW my initial reaction to this, not really having noted the term
camouflaging in use for this before, is similar to yours. But I do think for me I could adjust from that initial reaction as long as it’s clear “camouflaging” isn’t carrying any negative undertones or such.

I’m mainly laughing at it, figuring it is kind of a slip. I presume most with ADHD etc have long grown to find it a pet peeve because if we could “just” we wouldn’t have all this other shit going on right? lmao
November 26, 2024 at 3:00 AM
I’m sure you know better than to use the word “just” like that lol

Just random here who appreciates the work you’ve been doing and appreciate that you have boundaries so you can take care of yourself and keep doing whatever you are able. Be safe out there.

I mean I enabled nudity and still don’t see any generally. I’d say they have to enable it AND be fairly actively looking. More likely they want to suppress it for everyone rather than just complain for themselves.
