She lives!!!

At a loss for words but with a need to post.

I want Abuela Mery to write "Shayline" so I can get it tattooed.

I am so incredibly appreciative of my immediate environment. I am enveloped daily in an, often times, overwhelming amount of love. It makes me feel safe. It gives me calm.

Prepping the kids for a possible tornado is helping me keep somewhat calm.

If my kid ever breaks up with someone she will be BRUTAL.

Just saw her playing with her fake phone. Held it to her ear as she remained quiet for a few minutes. Then she asked "Is that all you gotta say? Hmm." Then hung up.

Blanca found a cozy spot to rest while I worked on a puzzle.

Been Dreaming of Whales

I recorded 20+ minutes of my kid explaining something about spiders and hearts and trees. A whole course with breaks in between so she could work on different diagrams. I have no idea what exactly her point, if there even was one, was.

I will cherish those videos forever.

Truly learning about Pedro Albizu Campos decades later than I should have.
