1. I was worried these would never arrive as they’ve been in Indy stuck for 2 weeks!

Yes I planned my day around #TheWheelOfTime fan event. Knocked out the grocery. Have snacks on hand. Will be watching The Dusty Wheel live on the big screen to nerd out once it’s over. A little Zelda on the side.

I am not a confident cook or comfortable in the kitchen. I decided to try and make Tini’s Mac n cheese. It’s as easy as she makes it sound and delicious!
Pan on the stovetop with macaroni and cheese. Layered Mac and cheese from the prior pic with more shredded cheese. In a baking pan on an oven shelf. Finished Mac and cheese after being broiled with a slightly dark and bubbly crust on top. Spoonful of creamy man and cheese.

Had an amazing GalaxyCon. Got to meet Patricia Summersett. She is the voice actress for Princess Zelda in the recent games.
Just had the best GalaxyCon. I went just today because Patricia Summersett, the voice actress for Princess Zelda was there. I’ve been playing the Zelda games since 1987. Much like Mario games, the Princess is not a main character while playing. She’s usually missing or off helping in some way that isn’t playable. Until Breath of the Wild, there was no audio dialogue, just written. When you unlock memories in BotW and Patricia Summersett gives Zelda life, I got goosebumps on my first playthrough. I didn’t know what the games were missing all this time. They were missing that. It sounds crazy, I know. Zelda is a playable character in Age of Calamity. It’s a fun game. Zelda and Patricia are even better in Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to BotW. I cried twice during that game and both were due to Patricia’s portrayal of Zelda and what’s happening in the scenes. I’ve played the game six times and love it so much. So I told Patricia all this. She’s so generous with her time. I had watched her whisper something to a child, didn’t think anything of it. Wait my turn. She had quite the line and VIP pass holders get to go first. I didn’t see her whisper to anyone else. We had a great chat, she said she also cried where I cried when she read the scripts. I got a selfie bc she doesn’t do any of the professional photo ops. After the selfie, she looked at me and said, “Do you want a line?” I didn’t understand. She said “I’m going to give you one regardless.” She leans forward and whispers in my ear as Princess Zelda, “Link, you must find me.” I died. Then thanked her profusely and wished her a great con! She had said this role has been life changing for her, you could tell by the long line she had! I hope some other lucky folks get a whisper! I now plan to walk through all the vendors and see if anything strikes my fancy. Well, I find the most gorgeous Zelda TotK art. I chat with the artist and woman with her at their booth. She also loves Zelda and made the art because Patricia was at the con. I go back to get it signed. She’s again generous with her time and laughs that I’m back. I said I had to come back and get this print signed. She also loves it and spends time talking over with me all of what she loves about it. I tell her the artist is here and she said she’s going to come by. Patricia says she hopes she does. I have her write “Link, you must find me” on it bc the depiction actually fits that scene of the game quite well. She writes it in Hylian. 🤯 Before I leave, I decide to go back to the artist and tell her all about this encounter. And that Patricia hopes she comes by and that she loves how the artist portrayed Zelda as so strong. The artist and woman at her booth are now both in tears. I’ve told her at least 5 times how gorgeous her work is. She loves Zelda and can’t believe the reaction and is so happy I came back to tell her. Can’t believe Patricia knows Hylian. And says she will have to go gift her a print. Signed artwork of Princess Zelda. She is holding the master sword and a tear. She is wearing the Togo like outfit from when she has traveled to the past. Patricia Summersett and me. Were holding signed Princess Zelda items; a photo and an action figure.

Spent my Sunday with this baby. She’s just under 3 weeks old. Volunteering at the shelter is the best medicine after a stressful week.
