@skinnylatte when I lived in the Bay Area 20 years ago I commuted from Manteca to Hayward across the 580 corridor for 3+ years. I’d leave my house at 4:00am (and stay at the office until 8:00pm) to minimize the commute home (which was 2 hours each way, 3 if there was a pileup). It’s crazy to […]

@futurebird I have to look up info on vacuum tubes all the time (to get specs, mainly plate dissipation to ensure they won’t melt the transformers in my amp). The only thing I trust is Franks Electron Tube Data Sheets (which started in 1929)
