Sitting outside for the past 2 hours waiting for the northern lights. The coyotes are making a ruckus tonight. Tried doing night mode on my camera but only managed to get Ursa Major.

I want to start out by saying my husband is not a stupid man. But it amazed me that at the ripe old age of 1 month shy of 54 years of age, I had to explain to him what Memorial Day is (he is not a veteran). I feel it's inexcusable and sad that we still have to explain it to people.
