From Jan 1-27, 2025, AA facilitated the return of 4,624 displaced people to Maungdaw, including 1,724 Muslim families (2,600+ people) and 900 Rakhine families (2,000+ people) from 15 villages.

It's alarming to learn that renewed violence in Myanmar has forced around 80,000 more Rohingyas to take shelter in Bangladesh since August last year, adding to the staggering 1.2 million already rising here.
