I get, and appreciate what you're laying down, but I didn't find anything wrong with the OP's comment. I'll maintain my stance that this really isn't the time for some kind of perceived intergenerational conflict. It's a waste of time.

It's sorta like trying to find the arsonist as the house burns down, rather than calling the fire dept. A lot of things chafe me, especially infighting over things that can't be undone.

genx as well, and what I've seen is a lot of our own generation regress also, so it's not exactly exclusive to older boomers, now is it? Nor is it helpful to go after anyone who is on your side at a time this dire. Nobody has a crystal ball that actually works.
