Update - Shenzhou-20 docked at the nadir (lower) port of Tianhe April 24 at 15:49 UTC. The crew entered the station a few hours later.

OTD - 1983 Crew of Soyuz-T8 return to earth after a 2 day ride attempting to dock with Salyut-7. Soyuz had a limited amount of fuel and battery power to make another attempt. Other Soyuz crews faced the same dilemma over the years. Soyuz-23, 25 & 33 failed to dock with Salyut-6.

OTD - 1987 the launch of Kvant 'Quantum' Mir station add-on module. A large FGB tug with a small separate astrophysics lab module that would be left behind permanently attached to Mir. Seen in the last image.
