I enjoy photography first, birding is a side effect of my hobby. Most of my photographs are from the urban landscape of the Midwest United States, which goes to show if you give nature just a little breathing room, amazing things can happen.

I really need to visit Toronto some day. Has a very familiar feel to Chicago, both on the great lakes. Most of my raptor photos come from the cemetery up the street from me and the interconnected parks along the river here.
