I do enjoy clinics though. Still much engaged in clinics in JP. The competitiveness as a dentist is outrageous, but standard of dental treatment is the best.

I don’t know why dental research in JP is almost all dead, with only a few among 29 manage to prosper. Sad fact.

My dental education, which I am sure was really the world class, was supported by gov subsidies - meaning tax payers partly paid.

If I worked abroad as dentist, I would feel a sense of betrayal. New knowledge can fly over while my composite filling done abroad not.

So I do research or leave.
