What’s the difference between a gov controlling an algorithm, silently eliminating reach for things it doesn’t like, vs the same gov using its power, to demand that the platform remove the things it doesn’t like.?

In China they are overt. With TikTok in the US, they control silently

Does anyone on this app like crypto? Surely everyone can't think it's a scam or hate it because the orange man is in favor of it...

I’m posting this because I know 73+ million of us are gonna have lots of use for this.

BlueSky is filling a void that 35+ up been looking for. Social media should be a cool distraction. Not stressful and annoying. Folks wanna laugh, have healthy banter and wit and sarcasm. A feeling of community. Not all these bots and ads and weird algorithms and engagement farming.

I'm excited to see so many of my Facebook friends over here. I wonder if our interactions will be different. Will we see each other more? Talk about different things or just have the same convos both places? Time will tell!

I'm going to be really slow and intentional in building over here because I learned from the other place, it can go really toxic, really fast.
