Yeah some nobody with no roles trying to suck it up to sag aftra. Tells you what you need to know about sag if people feel like they have to act this way to be in sag's good side

Would voice acting still be considered a profession when it all becomes sag approved ai packages? Unless it becomes restricted to the top vas, wouldnt it just be easier to sell off your voice for ai? Because sag promoting and selling si of their members will be cheaper for companies than using a va

Alright, fine I give up. Ya'll continue giving one org total control over voice acting and turn a blind eye to the obvious issues with sag aftra. We'll see how great of an idea this was in a few years.

The very sections, by the way, that i have issues with. The sections that say companies have to use sag vas or get fined, where non-union vas have to use their 3 lifetime taft hartley and either join the va or lose their role. The part where sag aftra is forcing a monopoly on va work.

Many games are signing it because they risk being blacklisted by sag, which would make getting vas, union or not, basically impossible. If a non union va works with a blacklisted company, then they themselves get blacklisted. And yes it's being snuck in, section 6 and 7 should be at the top if not.
