Today I saw very old religious art where the artist clearly hadn’t worked out how to paint necks. This is their legacy.

Today would have been my father-in-laws 85th birthday (and a few days from my-mother-in-laws 83rd birthday). It was a bleak wintry day. Sorrow like snow covers everything and made it all the more beautiful.

Visiting Germany and the town where my in-laws lived for the last 30+ years, Biberach an der Riß, is always beautiful but at Christmastide it SHINES in the darkness.

If you know a good Astor who’s considering God maybe about to shift them - show them this. I pastored this church for 8.5 years and it’s a community that is a joy to serve, lead and love.
