Finally watched Severance and my immediate reading on it was that you very clearly share a stream of consciousness with your "innie" even if you don't share their memories and so you are functionally torturing yourself even if you don't remember it

I find it difficult to meditate on a few days, but that changed after I paired it with cold showers. Something about a good cold shower that just brings your mind to a stand still and in the perfect space for meditation. Highly recommended.

Today a meditation teacher said “So long as we want a troubling emotion to leave us, we give it renewed attention and energy to stay. Only when we are equally happy for it to go or to stay, will we find true peace of mind”. But, doesn’t that mean you become indifferent towards almost everything?

When it comes to phones, I feel weight commands some respect. Like, I find it difficult to disrespect my iPhone 13 Pro for some reason when I know I respected the iPhone 13 way less. Probably sounds pretty silly, given how much money goes into making it lighter. Just saying. Feels solid in the hand.
